The story behind the Diamonds to success is a true story. As told by Earl Nightingale & others, it begins with a farmer in Africa who owned a ranch.

The Farmer Who Wanted Diamonds

​

Though his ranch was quite big, this farmer started hearing stories about how others were finding diamonds throughout the continent. He became obsessed with the idea of owning diamonds. He sold his ranch for a pittance & embarked upon his journey to find diamonds. He travelled far & wide, & found ... nothing. Zip. Zap. Zero. Nada.

He became depressed & threw himself into a river where he drowned.

​

Bummer!

​

So far, kind of a downer of a story. But wait! There is more:

​

Back at his former ranch, the new owners were strolling one day by a river which criss-crossed the land, when suddenly, they noticed that a rock in the river glistened a certain way when the sun struck it. They picked it up & took it home, where they placed it upon their mantel. A visiting friend noticed the rock, &, after looking closely at it, inquired if they knew what it was & where had they found it?

The Biggest Diamond of All Time!

​

The owners replied it was a pretty rock from the river - & in fact, the river was full of similar rocks, this one was just a big one. "A big one!! My friends, this is the biggest diamond I have seen in my lifetime!" "Impossible!" Experts were called in, &, indeed, the "pretty rock" was the biggest diamond found to date in Africa!

The ranch became *the* top producing diamond mine of the continent...

Moral of the Story

​

Sooooo, what is the moral of the story, & what does it have to do with us?

​

Well, the rancher travelled far & wide, when all the time he had a ranch full of diamonds right under his feet!

​

It touches us because, all of us have quite a collection of Diamonds Within us, such that we need not search for them in other parts. When discovered & polished, those Diamonds lead to success & abundance.

​

Sooo, she has walked the talk & very much knows what it means - & what it takes - to reach the top from personal experience.
