Conscious vs. Subconscious - Who Wins?

In a contest between the conscious mind & the subconscious mind, the subconscious always wins.

​

Thus if the subconscious mind is not aligned & does not agree with what the conscious mind thinks, it will sabotage what the conscious mind thinks it wants to achieve.

​

What One Thinks One Wants, May Not Be What One Attracts

​

A person may think at a conscious level that he or she wants to choose to be successful & surrounded by abundance, but if his or her subconscious mind harbors ill or resentful feelings about money, or about others having a lot of money, or if deep down one believes one does not deserve to have a lot of money because of low self-esteem, or deep down there is a fear of failure or of success, etc., etc., any effort to reach for success & abundance will pretty much always short-circuit & always fall short.

 

Further, the person may not even be aware he or she has those feelings & thoughts embedded in his or her subconscious. And yet, the Law of Attraction is always in operation. Soooo, one attracts what exists in one's subconscious for good or for bad.

​

Therein lies the importance of discovering what rocks exist in the subconscious to reprogram it to align it with those thoughts & feelings - Diamonds Within - which lead to great success & abundance in all aspects of one's life. And that is where it really, really does help to have conversations with a Mentor, who can help with the journey of discovery.

An Experiment Illustrates the Power of a Subconscious

An experiment which was conducted last century illustrates perfectly how the subconscious mind always trumps the conscious mind. A prisoner on death row was asked to participate in an experiment since he had nothing to loose. He was to lie comfortably for five days with a catheter attached to his arm & glued to the bottom of the bed. His blood would drain drop by drop until on the fifth day, he would die, but without the pain of the electric chair. Or so the prisoner was told, & he accepted the deal.

Thus, the prisoner lay down for five days & heard the sound of the constant drops of what he thought was his blood. It was not, however, his blood. The sound he heard was drops of water falling from a water bottle glued to the bottom of the bed. Not a single drop of his blood was ever involved. Nevertheless, such was the suggestion lodged in his subconscious, that he died precisely on the fifth day just as he was told, notwithstanding he was actually in perfect health. Such is the power of the subconscious, & why it is so important that it be filled with thoughts that foster & encourage success & abundance, rather than hinder them.

 

Alignment Is Where the Magic Begins

Once the work is done to align the conscious & subconscious minds for success & abundance, that is indeed what one will inevitably attract, & the magic begins.
